| A Petition made to Council Women Emily Naeole to draft a bill for an ordinance that would Increase the SMA to no less then 500 feet from the shoreline (2) Ban all future construction within the SMA. This would protect the scenic beauty and viewplanes of our coastline, eliminate pollution from cesspools and septic systems from entering the ocean, and preserve access for the future generation. Basically the community don't want to see the shorelines looking like Ali'i drive in Kona with NO ocean views vacation homes and condos get to enjoy and not the general public. How do you feel good or bad idea? |
